星巴克即将在上千家连锁店中售酒，除了红酒和啤酒等必须酒类，还会特别供应四点之后的晚间菜单，包括培根红枣卷，松露通心粉起司，巧克力芝士火锅等美食。

星巴克首席运营官Troy Alstead通过Bloomberg表示，整个酒类销售业务拓展过程将需要几年时间来完成。根据星巴克官网，目前酒类销售已经在全国的25个门店实行，主要位于洛杉矶，芝加哥，波特兰和亚特兰大。
已经投入酒类销售项目的Southland星巴克4家门店中，晚餐选项包括Parmesan-crusted chicken skewers with honey-dijon sauce, chocolate fondue with a dried fruit medley and madeleine cookies, 酒类包括原产于阿根廷，意大利和加州的啤酒和红酒。
周三的股东大会上，Oprah Winfrey宣布将于星巴克合作打造Teavana Oprah Chai Tea。这款原料包括小豆蔻，生姜，肉桂，丁香的混合型茶饮将在母亲节前夕，于4月29日开始在Starbucks和Teavana北美专卖店公开发售。
